We want you to be confident when you purchase from Hired. This Policy explains when refunds are available and how to request one.
1. Role Unlocks (Businesses)
A Role Unlock costs R997 and grants 30 days of full access to candidates matching the role search. Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase provided no candidate has been contacted from within the unlocked search.
Once a candidate has been contacted (Gmail, mailto, or WhatsApp recorded via the platform), the unlock is considered used and no longer eligible for refund. This protects candidates from being contacted under a purchase that is later reversed.
2. Credit packs (Job Seekers)
Credit packs (Starter, Professional, Enterprise) are refundable within 7 days of purchase if no credits have been consumed. Once credits are spent on any platform action (application sent, role search, resume tailoring, etc.) the pack is considered used and is non-refundable for the remaining balance.
3. How to request a refund
Email us at support@gothired.io from the email address on the account, with the order ID from your Lemon Squeezy receipt. We will respond within 3 business days and, if approved, process the refund through Lemon Squeezy. Funds typically appear in the original payment method within 5-10 business days.
4. Exceptions
Where required by South African consumer protection law, your statutory rights are unaffected by this Policy. For purchases made in the European Union or United Kingdom, additional withdrawal rights may apply. Contact us and we will assess your request under the applicable framework.
5. Failed payments and disputes
If a payment is charged in error or fails to grant access (e.g. a successful charge but the unlock did not activate), contact us within 30 days and we will resolve it at no cost to you.
